Fishing Derby - June 2021
On June 12, Streets2Streams hosted a fishing derby at Rahway River park. We were lucky enough to have 23 participants ranging in ages from 4-18. We were accompanied by the Rahway River Watershed Association and the Rahway River chapter of Trout Unlimited. We had an amazing time seeing everyone's catches and offering prizes to our anglers. We look forward to hosting more fishing events like this. Stay tuned!
River Cleanups
On August 15th 2020, our friends at Pig Farm Ink held the 4th Annual Get Trashed River Cleanup Battle at the Delaware River Club in Starlight, Pennsylvania. Over 60 volunteers picked up trash while floating down one of the most heavily used rivers in the Northeast.

Classroom Connections
Streets2Streams works to educate youth and teachers on fishing, local biology and wildlife, and the importance of conservation efforts and stewardship of our fisheries. We use Core Content Standards, across multiple disciplines, to provide a diverse educational experience.
We have experienced licensed teachers on staff to help facilitate outdoor education to meet all curriculum needs.

Environmental & Community Outreach
Streets2Streams works with youths aged 8 to 18. Our outings mainly include fishing, but we also just look to connect with nature in any way possible; hiking, birding, river cleanups, and other community based nature projects.
